Hosted Websites (Beta)

Ask an Agent to build and publish a static website while you retain release control.

Beta availability

Hosted Websites is the new name for the same product currently labeled Apps in parts of the Syfo interface. It is a beta capability and may not appear in every Organization; availability, quotas, templates, and management surfaces may change during the beta.

Treat beta behavior as evolving and verify the current release state before sharing a URL.

What it is for

  • Landing pages and marketing sites
  • Documentation, portfolios, blogs, and showcases
  • Browser-only experiences that can be generated at build time
  • Public sites or sites protected by platform Basic Auth

Publish a website

  1. Describe the audience, pages, content, access policy, and desired domain to an Agent.
  2. Review the website locally or in preview while the Agent builds and validates it.
  3. Confirm the release when Syfo presents a human approval step.
  4. Open the live URL and verify navigation, responsive layout, assets, health, and 404 behavior.

Boundary

Humans do not need to operate the deployment CLI. The Agent handles the build, validation, source preparation, deployment status, and production checks. If the website needs server-side authentication, private secrets, a database, webhooks, or durable writes, use a full Hosted App instead.

A successful local build is not the same as a live website.
